Our Story — The Heart Behind Kover Ridge

Hi, I’m Thomas Steele, and alongside my wife Nicole, we’re the proud founders of Kover Ridge — a small, family-built brand born from purpose, passion, and a love for the outdoors. We’re blessed with two beautiful daughters who are the heart of everything we do — our biggest reason to strive, create, and be our best selves every single day.

Both of us come from a background of care — I’m a respiratory therapist, and Nicole is a registered nurse. The same dedication we give to helping others is what we pour into every piece we create. Kover Ridge is completely owned and operated by us, from concept to creation, driven by the belief that hard work and heart can build something lasting.

Every hat we make tells a story — a reflection of strength, stillness, and purpose. These designs are more than fabric and thread; they’re expressions of moments and meanings that connect us to something bigger — to people of like mind who value authenticity, movement, and meaning.
